Sourcing & Suppliers

Are you a supplier, factory, or sourcing agent?

Yiwu Ketu E-commerce Firm provides procurement agency services from Yiwu, China. We help buyers source fashion jewelry and hair accessories from independent suppliers. We do not hold merchandise inventory or manufacture the goods.

Under our standard arrangement, the goods purchase is agreed between the buyer and the identified supplier. Yiwu Ketu E-commerce Firm provides separately agreed agency services. Any different arrangement must be expressly agreed and documented.

Suppliers are responsible for their manufacturing and sales obligations. Yiwu Ketu E-commerce Firm remains responsible for performing its own agreed agency obligations and any responsibilities imposed by applicable law.

Do you accept small orders and mixed products?

We help coordinate small wholesale orders where suppliers allow. MOQ depends on the item, style, color, packaging, and supplier.

Different products or supplier orders may be consolidated into one shipment, subject to supplier terms, cargo compatibility, and shipping requirements. Consolidation does not remove individual supplier MOQs.

Can you arrange samples, OEM/ODM, and custom packaging?

We can discuss samples, custom logos, packaging, and OEM/ODM requests with suitable independent suppliers. Feasibility depends on their capabilities, MOQ, development costs, and lead times.

Sample and delivery costs are quoted separately. Specifications, artwork, tooling ownership where relevant, and required sample approvals should be agreed before production.

Please provide designs and trademarks you own or are authorized to use.

How long does sourcing or production take?

Timing depends on stock availability, supplier capacity, quantity, customization, and sample approval. We request an estimated schedule for your selected items.

Production, consolidation, inspection, and international transit are separate stages. Any required delivery date should be discussed before ordering; estimates are not guaranteed delivery dates unless expressly agreed.

Fees, Payments & Cancellation

How is your sourcing service fee calculated?

Our agency fee is based on goods value and project complexity, using an agreed rate and a minimum service fee of US$80. The fee basis, rate, included services, and payment schedule are confirmed before work begins.

Illustration: a 5% fee on US$2,000 of goods is US$100. If the agreed percentage produces a fee below US$80, the minimum applies. The 5% rate is an example, not a fixed rate for all projects. The quotation distinguishes success-based introduction remuneration from separately commissioned coordination work and approved costs. Advance payment is not automatically earned; where brokerage rules apply, an unsuccessful introduction does not itself earn brokerage remuneration. Any necessary expenses follow the agreement and applicable law.

The quotation identifies included agency work, such as supplier communication, quotation coordination, order follow-up, consolidation coordination, basic checks, and documentation support.

Samples, domestic transport, international freight, specialist testing or inspections, and other excluded costs are quoted separately. Actual-cost charges are identified separately from our agency fee. Additional expenditure requires your approval.

Who receives goods payments and service fees?

Goods payments and Yiwu Ketu E-commerce Firm agency fees must be paid separately. Under our standard arrangement, Yiwu Ketu E-commerce Firm does not receive, hold, or settle merchandise payments. International bank transfers to Yiwu Ketu E-commerce Firm are for our agency service fee only.

Supplier deposits and balances follow the confirmed purchase terms. The goods-payment recipient must be identified in the relevant transaction documents. Any authorized third-party collection arrangement requires separate verification and documentation.

Please include a reference such as “Yiwu Ketu E-commerce Firm agency service fee, Project #XXX”. Verify any change of bank details through a previously established contact channel before paying.

What happens if I cancel? Is the service fee refundable?

Please notify us in writing as soon as you wish to cancel. Cancellation does not automatically mean either a full refund or full forfeiture.

Settlement takes account of the agreed terms, work actually completed, reasonable documented costs, cancellation circumstances, and applicable law. Amounts due for completed services and any lawful cancellation compensation are assessed separately from amounts refundable.

Starting sourcing work does not, by itself, make every part of a prepaid fee non-refundable. Supplier problems do not automatically make Yiwu Ketu E-commerce Firm liable for supplier obligations, but they also do not exclude responsibility for Yiwu Ketu E-commerce Firm's own breach or other liability under applicable law.

Refundable and retained amounts also depend on the legal nature of each service. Unperformed work is not charged as completed work. Supplier goods-payment refunds are handled separately under the goods purchase arrangement.

How do I request a service-fee refund?

Send your project reference, payment evidence, and reason for the request. We may request reasonable supporting information and provide a settlement statement identifying any deductions.

Please contact us promptly after identifying a cancellation or refund issue. No separate 30-day website deadline applies. Applicable limitation periods and other rights remain unaffected.

Approved refunds are normally returned to the original paying account, subject to bank requirements. If that account cannot receive the refund, contact us to discuss a verified, lawful alternative. Any agreed bank charges and expected processing time will be explained before processing.

Inspection, Shipping & Export

What does your pre-shipment check cover?

Basic checks are performed only when agreed. The project record identifies whether quantity, external packaging or visible product appearance is covered, the coverage and any sampling. No complete inspection or defect-free result is promised.

Our basic check is not a full inspection, functional test, hidden-defect assessment, laboratory test or product certification. Specialist inspection or testing may be separately commissioned from an appropriately qualified independent provider at an approved cost.

These scope limits do not exclude responsibility for failing to perform the checks we agreed to provide.

How do I approve a shipment?

We provide a shipment confirmation form or clear written approval instructions. Please identify the project, goods, any outstanding issues, and your instruction to release the shipment.

If a message such as “OK” or “Looks good” is ambiguous, we will ask for clarification rather than assume it authorizes shipment. Records may be kept through agreed email or messaging channels.

Approval to ship does not by itself waive claims for concealed defects or other rights unless lawfully and specifically agreed.

What shipping options and costs should I expect?

We help coordinate express courier, air freight, and sea freight options where available. Destination coverage depends on the carrier, route, goods, and applicable restrictions.

Unless otherwise agreed, shipping is paid by the buyer. Quotes depend on actual or volumetric weight, dimensions, destination, and service level. Duties, taxes, clearance fees, and destination charges should be checked for inclusion or exclusion.

The quotation should identify the applicable shipping terms and allocation of transit risk. Transit estimates are separate from production times.

Can cargo insurance be arranged?

We can request cargo insurance options through relevant providers, subject to availability. Premiums are paid by the buyer unless otherwise agreed.

Coverage, insured value, exclusions, deductibles, and claim requirements must be reviewed before shipment. Insurance does not guarantee that every loss or delay will be covered.

What is market procurement trade, customs code 1039?

Market procurement trade is a Chinese export customs supervision mode for qualifying goods purchased in approved market clusters. It is not limited to Yiwu or automatically available for every small or mixed order.

The suitable export mode and required filings are checked with the designated exporter or qualified service provider for each shipment.

Can I verify your business and export-related documents?

Please request the business documents relevant to your project. We can share available records relating to our own entity and clarify which export functions are performed by separate partners.

A business license, customs filing, and market procurement platform filing are different records. The scope and current status of each should be checked against the relevant official record.

Yiwu Ketu E-commerce Firm is not the exporter of record under our standard agency arrangement. The designated exporter and documentation responsibilities are identified for each shipment.

Can you help with HS codes and export documents?

We can help gather product information and coordinate indicative HS classification and document preparation with relevant partners. Classification depends on material, function, and destination rules.

Export and import classifications may differ beyond the internationally harmonized digits. The responsible declarant and destination customs broker should review the classification; customs authorities retain classification powers.

Product Requirements & Service Terms

Do jewelry and hair accessories need CE marking?

CE marking is required only for products covered by specific EU legislation. It is not a general quality certificate for every product.

Ordinary non-electrical fashion jewelry and hair accessories generally do not require CE marking solely because they are accessories. CE marking must not be applied where no applicable CE legislation requires it. Different requirements may apply to products with toy, electrical, or other regulated features.

Products outside CE-marking legislation must still meet applicable safety, chemical, labeling, and traceability requirements.

Can you guarantee that every item is suitable for EU or US sale?

No blanket market-compliance guarantee is provided. Requirements depend on the exact product, materials, intended users, destination, and sales channel. Supplier statements alone do not establish compliance.

Tell us the target market and intended use before ordering. Relevant requirements may include chemical restrictions, general product safety, labeling, traceability, and duties of importers or other responsible economic operators.

Manufacturers, importers, distributors, and other parties may each have legal obligations. A service agreement cannot remove obligations imposed on a party by applicable law.

Do you source products for children?

Our standard sourcing service focuses on adult fashion accessories. Children's products are not included without a separate review of product requirements and express agreement.

An “adult use only” statement does not determine legal classification. Design, size, packaging, marketing, and expected use must also be considered. In the US, the children's-product assessment concerns products primarily intended for children aged 12 or younger.

What product reports or testing support can you provide?

We can request available supplier material information and test reports for selected items. Report authenticity, product match, tested materials, scope, and date should be reviewed before reliance. Sharing a report is not independent verification.

We do not issue laboratory reports or independently certify goods. Additional testing or specialist advice can be coordinated where agreed. Not every requirement involves a certificate, and a laboratory report alone may not satisfy all market-entry obligations.

If a rule requires an approved or accredited laboratory, an appropriately qualified provider must be selected for that work.

Can I communicate directly with introduced suppliers?

Direct technical or order communication may be arranged as part of a project. Such communication does not by itself cancel agreed agency fees.

Any supplier-introduction protection is set out in the accepted service agreement. Where a 12-month protection period is agreed, the agreement should identify the protected introductions, covered transactions, relevant exceptions, and fee calculation.

Pre-existing supplier relationships should be disclosed before work begins. Any claim depends on the agreement, the actual introduction and transaction, and applicable law.

Which terms and dispute arrangements apply?

Please review our Procurement Agency Terms before starting a project. The applicable version, service scope, fees, and important conditions are provided for explicit acceptance.

Sending an inquiry alone is not treated as acceptance of all service terms.

Our proposed service terms use the laws of the People's Republic of China and provide for disputes before a competent court in Yiwu, Zhejiang, subject to a valid jurisdiction agreement and applicable mandatory rules. The accepted agreement should identify the precise arrangement.

Service information: This FAQ summarizes our proposed working arrangements and does not replace the accepted project agreement. Any inconsistency should be clarified before payment. Nothing here excludes liability or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
